Preparation
Assessing the existing walls and floor, removing unsuitable surfaces where required, and preparing the substrate for the next stage.
/Renovations
Screeding, waterproofing and tiling handled as one coordinated job — not three separate trades landing on site in whatever order suits them.

A bathroom renovation usually starts with working out what's actually being replaced, and what condition the existing floor and walls are in underneath the surface finishes. Once that's clear, the job moves through preparation, screeding, waterproofing and tiling toward the finished result.
We coordinate the tiling, screeding and waterproofing sequence directly, while specialist trades such as plumbers, electricians and cabinetmakers handle the work outside our scope where required.
/How it works
Assessing the existing walls and floor, removing unsuitable surfaces where required, and preparing the substrate for the next stage.
Where required, levelling the floor and establishing the correct falls to the drain.
Applying the waterproofing system to the required wet-area surfaces, including the shower recess, floor and relevant wall areas.
Installing ceramic, porcelain, mosaic or natural stone tiles to walls and floor.
Grouting and detailing edges, corners and fixtures to complete the room.

Bathroom tiling covers the shower recess, floor, and any feature or splashback areas, using ceramic, porcelain, mosaic or natural stone tiles depending on what suits the space. Wall tiling and floor tiling require different considerations. Floors need the correct levels and falls for drainage, while wall tiling involves careful set-out, tile cuts and clean finishing around shower fittings, niches and other fixtures.
Worth noting: plumbing, electrical work and cabinetry are specialist trades outside tiling, screeding and waterproofing. Whether these are included depends on what's agreed for the particular job.
Our bathroom renovation work covers the tiling, screeding and waterproofing stages of the job. We can work with your existing layout or as part of a larger renovation, depending on what's required.
If plumbing, electrical work, cabinetry or other specialist trades are involved, we'll clarify what's included in the scope before work begins.
A rough idea of what's changing (full strip-out, or working with the existing layout), whether the shower, bath or vanity are moving, and any tiles you've already got your eye on. None of this needs to be locked in before we talk — it just helps to have a starting point.

/Questions & answers
For wet-area renovation work where waterproofing is required, it's completed before the new tiling is installed. The exact waterproofing work depends on the scope and condition of the existing bathroom.
Yes, tiling and waterproofing can be carried out as a standalone job as well as part of a larger bathroom renovation.
It depends on the scope — a straightforward re-tile is very different from a full strip-out and reconfiguration. The price also depends on the condition of the existing surfaces, materials selected and any changes to the layout. We provide a quote once we know what's involved.
Timeframes come down to the scope of the job and what's involved in the prep, waterproofing and tiling stages. It's something we set out clearly as part of the quote, not a one-size-fits-all number.
